• Beam always far from coils:

• A|| beam along magnet axis: no deflection.

• A^ beam normal to axis:

  • deflection qd = 2.25°
  • at dump = -1.049 m ò -1.066 m

• A^ plane tilt: E'min = 3.8 GeV

  • f = 16°; cos f = 0.962.
  • E155x:
  • f(x=0.05, qe= 2.75°) = 15.7°
